Chamel Fields Farmstay

Recently, more local visitors have been enjoying the ambience and animals at Chamel Fields.
During the worst of Covid, I, known as Farmer Judith by some of the youthful guests, retired from off property work, and am now  enjoys my  farm stay hosting duties, sharing the peace, tranquility and sometimes frenetic activities  of farm life, as well as the magic of animals, with guests.
Springtime is still a special and busy time with foals and calves arriving throughout, time spent on  names for the little ones, and all the training and procedures needed to insure their healthy growth.  This season produced a number of bulls, now steers and three little heifers, Val, Veralyn and Magdelene, she born Christmas Eve and called Maggie for short.  There was only one foal this year, a taffy filly out of CF Chemise named Micette who is developing nicely.

Foaling for the previous year produced a very handsome bay boy, Night Magic,  and Tiffany, a petite  blue-eyed cremello pinto filly.
